With the rapid development of the economy and the increasingly fierce market competition,employee performance has become an important factor in the survival of enterprises.How to improve employee performance has become an important research issue in the academic circle.Based on previous research,at the individual level,employees' trust in the organization is significantly correlated with employee performance.However,the two variables are positive or negative,and the academic community has not reached an agreement.From the leadership level,the leadership style used by leaders influences the performance of employees.Therefore,enterprises must adopt a management method that is in line with their own reality in order to survive and develop in the fierce competition.As a typical Confucian cultural thought in China,the doctrine of the mean has important guiding significance for the leaders of local enterprises.However,the academic research on the doctrine of the mean is mostly at the individual level,and the zhong-yong thinking at the leadership level is less involved.Therefore,the author believes that it is necessary to study the modest thinking of the leadership level in order to explore the impact of this variable on employee performance.Based on the above situation,this study will use the cross-level research method to incorporate the moderation thinking into the impact model of employee performance,and explore the internal mechanism of organizational trust,employee performance and leader's moderation.Exploring the effective management of sustainable and steady growth of enterprises and helping them to develop healthily.(1)Organizational trust has a positive correlation on employee performance.(2)There is a multi-level correlation between organizational trust,employee performance,and the zhong-yong thinking of leaders.(3)Leaders' zhong-yong thinking has a cross-layer adjustment role in the relationship between organizational trust and employee performance.Based on the results,research has practical and theoretical implications.From the practical point of view,this paper puts forward corresponding management suggestions from the perspective of each variable studied.Guide enterprises to cultivate and enhance employees' sense of trust,improve the management level of leaders,provide guidance for enterprise human resources work,and improve overall corporate performance.In terms of management theory,in the context of the new era,the theoretical nutrients needed for management studies are sought from the classic Confucianism-the zhong-yong thinking,which enriches the study of local culture on enterprise management.
