| Nowadays, the government has been pushing forward the transformation of tourism to intensive, economical and environmental friendly development, the tourism product to be more like sightseeing, leisure vacation, and the tourism service to be more efficient. While, the transformation needs protective development of tourism product which will not only attract more customers but also stimulate greater revenue growth. However, high investment doesn't generate high economic and social benefits when implementing protective projects. Therefore, it's worthy of research on cost benefit of projective projects.This essay will focus on the protective projects in Hunan Dongjiang Lake Tourism Development Co., Ltd.. The author defines to cost of protective projects as investment for protection and development on the basis of sustainable development theory, cost effectiveness theory and stakeholder theory. In this context, the author analyzes the status of cost and benefit of protective projects in the targeted area, and evaluates the cost benefit based on the cost-profit ratio index and revenue-profit ratio index. Analysis shows that uneven fund flow, low fund utilization rate, low per capita income growth and high maintenance cost make the project imperfect. The main reasons are as follow:structural imperfection, small sized tourism economy, innovation deficiency, and insufficient regulation.The author thinks that raising the cost benefit of protective projects should stick to sustainable development, conduct differential interior management, improve the service awareness and strengthen supervision. |
