The Development Of Pingxiang Modern Agricultural

Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy.The development of modern agriculture is the focus of rural economic work in the new period,its the only way to transform traditional agriculture.Pingxiang is an industrial and mining city,there are two counties and three District in Pingxiang, the city's population of about 1880000(2013),Per capital arable land area is only 0.53 acres,Far below the national's average level.Since the reform and opening up, the agricultural development of Pingxiang has made some achievements.However, the agricultural infrastructure is weak, the material and equipment level is not high, the level of agricultural industrialization is not high, the independent innovation ability is weak, the agricultural management mode is lagging behind, the rural labor quality is not high, which is an important factor to hinder the development of modern agriculture in Pingxiang city.With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, how to promote the coordinated development of industry, agriculture, urban and rural areas, the transformation and upgrading of agricultural industry, the development of modern agriculture is particularly important.This paper reviews the research of modern agriculture at home and abroad, and summarizes the concepts and theories of modern agriculture,In view of the development of modern agriculture in Pingxiang, the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the development of modern agriculture in Pingxiang are analyzed in detail.Draw lessons from the successful experience of the modern agricultural development model at home and abroad to Pingxiang.The author thinks that the mode of agricultural science and technology demonstration garden, the intensive cultivation and the "ecological" cultivation mode and the mode of sightseeing agriculture(leisure agriculture)are more suitable for the development of modern agriculture in Pingxiang, and finally put forward policy suggestions to promote the development of modern agriculture in Pingxiang.
