With the development of society and economy,people`s travel demand have changed from traditional tourism mode to enjoy type and experiencing type.At the same time,our country has entered into the stage of rapid aging,and produced the subhealth problem.These make people shift their attentions to health and environment.There have greater demand about pension industry,the health industry and medical industry.Tour type that combinig health industy and tourism will be the trend.Our government has issued relevant policies to promote the development of tourism,and encouragedthe wellness tourism clearly.However,wellness tourism in our country still exist many problems,such as low level of product development,homogenization phenomenon is serious and so on.By citing wellness tourism related concept, theory, development situation about domestic and abroad, analyzing the present situation of chengdu tourism, tourist market, market competition, organizing evaluation of the chengdu tourism resources. The article think that chengdu should stick to the strategy of HPE health tourism development, to the leisure and health as a strategy, theming religious health destination for the world, national resort and holiday destination, health spa tourism destination; Middle-aged and old as the main tourist market, and balancing the popular market positioning of all ages, geographically, mainly local and provincial short-range market expand the domestic market, strive for the international market.Article divided wellness tourism into "one center and three zones", namely the chengdu tourism information and service center, leisure and recuperation tourist holiday zone, cultural tourism zone,eco-tourism resort.Second, the artical advocated that built a base regard Wenjiang as the core area, Dujiangyan, Qingyang district,Shuangliu,Wuhou district,Longquan district,Pixian as the sub-core region,and other area as xtending area,In order to practically a surface to the point of attachment, gradual development. At the same time, the article designed the four tourism products based on theory of “full health”, such as health management center,leisure and recuperation tourist center, cultural wellness tourism zone, wellness tourism shopping center.Through the study about projecting wellness tourism of Chengdu, author hope to put wellness tourism into a strategic pillar industry.Finally,the artical put forward some relevant suggestions.There have there innovation points about this article.Firstly, the author have combed and evaluated the tourism resources in Chengdu.Secondly,planing the areas as a whole.From the perspective of the whole region, make the overall planing for wellness tourism of Chengdu.Thirdly,the research have designed the products according to the demands ofdifferent tourists.And also it have put forward the idea about health plans,we can offer visitors the customization of short-term or long-term health plans,provede free and authoritative attestation.
