Research On The Risk Management Of New Product Trial Run In E Company

Project Management has been developed rapidly and achieved a lot of success since 90's, covering almost all industries world-widely. Risk management is one of the most important segments of project management, and the key factor for the success of a project. As a result of the uncertainty in new product trail run stage, it needs a set of feasible risk management solutions urgently.This study is based on modern project management theory, analysis existing risk management process of new product trail run in E company focusing on risk identification, risk measurement, risk response, risk monitoring and control, etc. and it proposes optimization measures covering risk management process, risk management system, risk management information system, cross function team communication and coordination. This paper contains the follow main researching results:(1) Analysis existing risk management process of new product trail run in E company. It contains the organization chart and working process of new product trail run project, details uniqueness and uncertainty of new product trail run; analysis existing risk management process of new product trail run focusing on risk identification, risk measurement, risk response, risk monitoring and control; realizes that a risk management system has not been set up during new product trail run, information transmission among cross function teams is not smooth and timely.(2) This paper proposes optimization measures. This study designs risk check list and risk identification check list to optimize risk identification process; it improves FMEA template for risk measurement optimization; Fish-bone and 6sigma are used as tools for risk root cause analysis, contingency plan is implemented as risk response; Online SPC and risk trigger are used for risk monitoring and control; risk management system together with risk management information system, team communication and coordination are also studied in this thesis.This study is performed according to t project management theory and the actual case, and is applicable for new product trial run project.
