Research On The Countermeasures Of China's Producer Service Industry From The Perspective Of International Comparison

Since the 1960 s, with the gradual political and economic stability after World War II, the division of labor and collaboration between countries have strengthened, the value chain of the global industry have extended, and the service of the global economy have increased dramatically. In this context, based on manufacturing industry, producer services gradually separate from it, developing into modern service industry chain mainly featured by knowledge intensity, high quality, high technology and high industrial added value. Therefore, combined with the urgent need for current economic structure transformation and a growing interest in research of producer services in China, it is practically significant to study the problems and offer possible suggestions of the development of producer services in our country through the international comparative analysis.This thesis first introduces the concept of producer services, puts forward new standard of classification based on the popular classifications in current academic circles, and states the theoretical basis for integration of producer services and manufacturing by studying the relevant theories of the development of producer services.Then, through the analysis of the development status and the institutional factors of producer services, and the association between producer services and manufacturing in the United States and Japan and Germany, the thesis proposes some references for the development of China's producer services, and discusses the vital role of the government who should play in the urgent need for economic structure transformation in China.Further, the thesis, starting with the current situation of producer services in China, points out the problems in the development of producer services, which refer to low general level, unreasonable structure and non-synchronized development between producer services and manufacturing. Finally, the thesis puts forward the corresponding solutions to above problems from the system level and the integration level of producer services and manufacturing.
