It has been more and more critical to deploy one competitive national Distribution Network for Apparel and Footwear Companies, considering the full competition market environment. And how to build one efficient distribution network is the key questions leaders will think about when defining the corporate strategy.The Apparel and Footwear company needs to take into account all the related factors such as the features only applies to AFS industry. With reference to the classic theory of Distribution, I also combined the unique natures of AFS to explore the key factors that affect the establishing of one successful distribution network.One business Case, ANTA Sports is discussed in this article. The experience and lessons learnt are introduced, as well as its strategy and method used to achieve the success. The experience of ANTA on choosing the distribution method – self run distribution network or outsourced distribution network – is analyzed in the article. The Distribution Network Integration project which promotes the network efficiency is also introduced and summarized for its valuable points for other companies.We are looking forward to contribute a little on the further research of distribution channel establishing and expanding in China for AFS companies. We hope China can have more sound brands in AFS industry.
