The Impact Of The Border Area Trade With Russian On Heilongjiang Regional Economic Development

China and Russia has developed into a comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation in 2014. The border Trade of Heilongjiang Province with Russia is not only an important part of deepening the Sino-Russian relationship, but also the main direction of making political mutual trust into pragmatic cooperation. Heilongjiang province, located in northeast of China, an economy and adjacent to Russia, is the very first province that cooperates with Russia due to its unique geographical advantages. With their cooperation increasingly expanding in the field and scale, Sino-Russian has made fruitful achievements, such as finance, energy, transportation, science and technology. At present, with the condition of Heilongjiang's constantly improving the opening-up level, strengthening constructing roads, bridges, ports and other infrastructures and actively building the eastern sea-land silk road economic zone, Russia has joined into the World Trade Organization and launched a Far East Economic Development Program. Heilongjiang should make use of the best Sino-Russian relationship in history and its advantages to perfect the mode of the border trade cooperation so as to speed the economic development.Sino-Russian trade in Heilongjiang plays an important role in deepening two nation's relationship, promoting the border area's economic development and following the trend of economic globalization and regional economic integration. Therefore, the object of this study is the trade of Heilongjiang province with Russia; the theory bases on Border Trade Theory; the starting is the development, characteristics, advantages and existing problems of Heilongjiang border trade with Russian; the study puts emphasis on how Heilongjiang border trade with Russia impacts on regional economic development and the corresponding strategies to promote economy. The thesis is divided into four chapters and the main contents are as follows:The first chapter serves as the introduction, which introduces the research background, purpose and significance, the findings at home and abroad, the thought, the method and the theoretical basis. It generalizes the whole passage.The second chapter mainly deals with the present development of Heilongjiang border trade with Russian, including the process, achievements, characteristics and existing problems. In this chapter there are numerous related statistical data, which makes the paper more intuitive and specific in this chapter.The third chapter analyzes how Heilongjiang border trade with Russia impacts on regional economic development positively, and emphasizes on how the trade plays the important part in promoting regional economy, culture and social development.The fourth chapter offers the proposal of developing border trade with Russia in Heilongjiang based on analyses of its present development, characteristics and problems, which provide some strategies and means for bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
