Crowdfunding, as a new model in the field of internet finance, plays a vital role in SME financing and financial reform. Guangdong, as the frontier of reform, although crowdfunding starts relatively late, but has made rapid progress in the past few years, emerging a large number of famous equity crowdfunding platforms. The paper's purpose is to understand the status quo of Guangdong equity crowdfunding and give advices to promote its development.Based on the above two goals, this paper mainly through questionnaire survey, online survey and other ways to analyze Guangdong equity crowdfunding. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction. The second part introduces the domestic and international development of crowdfunding. The third part of the analysis of the overall development of the Guangdong equity crowdfunding. The fourth part analyzes the specific operation of the crowdfunding platform The fifth part analyzes the problems that affect the development of the Guangdong crowdfunding. The sixth part is the specific proposal to promote the development of Guangdong equity crowdfunding.Through investigation, this paper summarized the following four conclusions:(1) The overall situation of Guangdong equity crowdfunding has the following features. The equity crowdfunding leads in the field of crowdfunding; The development focuses on both Guangzhou and Shenzhen; The funding platforms aren't profitable and show a trend of differentiation; The raise projects focus on the field of TMT. In addition, the Guangdong public awareness of crowdfunding is low.(2) To sum up the operating mode of Guangdong equity crowdfunding platform, besides profit status and risk control system, taking an example of A platform.(3) With the method of the fuzzy analytic hierarchy analysis, the paper funds the problems from platform and external factor are the most serious which affect the development of equity crowdfunding.(4) Make proposals to promote the development of equity crowdfunding from the point of view of the platform and the legal supervision.
