Evaluation Study On The Development Level And Efficiency Of Logistics Industry In Hebei Province

Logistics industry plays an important role in the national economy,and its development can optimize the allocation of resources and the industrial structure,so as to enhance the economic competitiveness.In recent years,logistics industry in Hebei Province develops rapidly,it has grown into a pillar industry in various sectors of the economy,and it now has the advantages of geographical location,transportation,human resources and so on.In order to further promote the comprehensive ability of the logistics industry in Hebei Province,it is necessary to analyze and evaluate the development level and efficiency of the logistics industry in Hebei Province,and it is also significant to tap the development potential of the logistics industry for establishing the future development direction.In this paper,using entropy theory and stochastic frontier model,we study a comprehensive evaluation on the development level and efficiency of logistics industry in Hebei province.Firstly,we clear the meaning of the logistics industry and review the related theory of entropy method and stochastic frontier model;Secondly,we analyze the status of the development of logistics industry in Hebei Province;Thirdly,we analyze the development level of the logistics industry in Hebei Province.Using Variance weighting method and entropy method to evaluate Hebei logistics form 2004 to 2014.According to the analysis result,we get the changing track about the development level of logistics industry in Hebei Province over the years;Fourth,we analyze development efficiency of the logistics industry in Hebei province.We select logistics data include 31 provinces in China as research object,and using stochastic frontier model to measure the logistics efficiency;Finally,this paper put forward the corresponding policy recommendations on the basis of evaluation and analysis the development of logistics industry in Hebei Province.
