Research On The Evalution Of Urbanization Efficiency And Its Determinants In Beijing,Tianjin And Hebei

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,as the most economically active region in the north,has great potential for urbanization,it's urbanization is a powerful driving force for promoting sustainable and healthy economic development and comprehensively deepening reform in the next phase.However,the urbanization of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has generated many urgent problems while stimulating vitality and creating value continuously.These problems reflect the inefficiency in the process of urbanization.The19 th National Party Congress more clearly adhered to the path of new urbanization with Chinese characteristics.The new urbanization is pursuing the high quality development of urbanization.and We attach great importance to the efficiency of urbanization.Therefore,starting from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration,this paper constructs the urbanization stochastic frontier production function model from the perspectives of population,economy,society,and space,and elaborates the temporal evolution and spatial distribution of urbanization efficiency from the perspective of urban agglomerations and individual cities.At the same time,exploring the action mechanism of five influencing factors on the efficiency of urbanization in order to propose specific suggestions for improving the urbanization efficiency of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.Firstly,this paper introduces the research progress at home and abroad,summarizes the theory of urbanization research,and analyzes and defines the core concepts at the same time.Secondly,constructing an evaluation index system of urbanization efficiency from the four dimensions of population,economy,society and space and combining the improved original stochastic frontier production function model to analyze the temporal evolution and spatial distribution of urbanization efficiency;Thirdly,with the help of the technical inefficiency function model,we explore action mechanism of urban scale,industrial structure,infrastructure construction,technological progress,and economic openness on the efficiency of urbanization.Finally,from the macro and meso perspectives,the paper puts forwards policy recommendations of how to improve the urbanization efficiency of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.At the macro level,to coordinate the development of various cities,Beijing and Tianjin should rely on industrial transfer tocontrol the scale of cities,and other small and medium-sized cities should expand themselves through the development of county economies;At the meso level,in the industrial construction,each city should build a modern industrial system to promote the transformation of industrial structure and development of high-end.In terms of system construction,we should innovate the investment mode of infrastructure within the city,change the existing extensive development mode through technological innovation,and develop a higher level open economy to attract the influx of talent capital.
