Study On The Application Of Lean Production In Company L

Lean production is a kind of modern operation management mode,which originated from the practice of Toyota Co.Ltd.,Japan in 1950 s.After years of improvement and development,it has been widely used in the international and domestic enterprises.More and more enterprises have promoting lean practice,in which lean production tools and methods evolved.Those lean companies not only improved the operating performance,but also enriched and developed the theory of lean production.Based on the analysis of the lean production methods,this paper compares the differencesin the specific practice of lean productionbetween Japan and USA,outlines the philosophy of lean production,the tools and methods of lean production.Company L is a Sino foreign joint venture auto parts manufacturing enterprise,is facing both to expand production capacity and optimize the production performance by reducing the waste,so the promotion of lean production has become a reasonable choice of Company L.This paper analyzes the status and problems of Company L's operation management,finds out the problems,and analyzes the causes of the problems.This paper utilizes the lean concept and the value stream mapping,exposed the problem in inventory caused by push system of material supply chain of Company L,puts forward the solving method,and assesses the effect by after Kaizen?s value stream mapping.Based on the analysis of the work unit and the balance of line,the waste of productivity is exposed,and the solving methods are put forward.This paper also records Company L to use policy management,promotion of 5S and other methods to carry on the continuous improvement of the working process and the effect.According to the practice and achievements of lean production in Company L,it is proved that the method of lean production is an effective method to improve the enterprise operation performance,including the optimization of value stream and the efficiency.
