Since the technology of cyber and telematics are constantly developing, now the relatively independent and traditional automobile manufactory industry has a big improvement under their influence. Meanwhile the speed of integrate manufacture and information industry are even much faster than before. Telematics takes as the core competitiveness of the auto companies to improve their brand images and the post-market value have now been practiced and launched related products by many international famous auto companies. With steadily economy gross of China, his car industry has the same situation. As of today's situation, with yearly 10 million increasing, in year 2020 the recoverable amount of Chinese automobile will exceed 200 million. Moreover, the penetration rate of telematics service will increase to 50% from 10%. The market shares will probably breakthrough 150 billion Yuan. Based on the increasingly mature technology of telematics and under the strong driving force of the giant auto market, everything is ready for the comprehensive promotion of the application. All these motive factors will become the opportunities and challenges for the auto industry to develop telematics since it will be the key breakthrough area of the automobile industry.One of the top ten automobile enterprise's R&D center-F Company is the research object of this article. Based on the strategy management theory, using methods of PEST analysis, Potter's five forces, SWOT analysis, QSPM matrix to do research on F company's macro environment, development situation and trend of the automobile industry and telematics. This clarified F company's outside opportunities and challenges, determined its inside advantages and disadvantages. Meanwhile it confirms F company will integrate its own resource and capacity via finding a suitable cooperative partner and enter the smart car area together, also made the suggestion of practicing strategy implementation by function strategy. With the deep study of this article, purpose is to seek a valuable practical way and strategy for auto companies to develop telematics and help F company to grasp the opportunitv and win the sustainable and good development under the leading of nation's industrial internet and intelligent manufacturing trend.
