The Research On The Optimization Of Supplier Management For YNDL Diesel Engine Company

With the changes in the global market economic forms and the increasingly fierce competition in the domestic manufacturing, especially the independent brand of engine industry is facing the severe competition situation. Because of gradually transparency of Engine spare parts cost, the way to reduce costs is no longer a simple talk about its price, the competition between engine manufacturing enterprises has been converted into the management of supply chains. However, the supplier plays a vital role in the upstream link of the supply chain structure. To strengthen the supplier management of the enterprise, not only can control the procurement risk, but also can reduce the purchasing costs and improve core competitiveness of enterprises. In this paper, choose YNDL company which engages in the engine manufacturing as the research object, combined with the current supplier management situation of YNDL company to analyze the problems and reasons existing in the suppliers management. Then, according to the analysis of the existing problems put forward some optimization and improvement suggestions.Firstly, this paper sorts out the related theory knowledge of supplier management, and systematically understands the methods and application model, emphasized the importance of the supplier management; Secondly, to YNDL company supplier management present situation launches the research and sorting survey data, and from the purchasing amount analysis of its suppliers’form; Then, combined with the research information of YNDL supplier management status, respectively supplier selection, audit, evaluation, classification and so on, analyse of the current problems and reasons existing in the management; Finally, the reasonable optimization suggestions for improvement are proposed according to the previous analysis and the supplier management optimization and implementation plan are instituted from aspects of supplier selection and development, supplier audit and supplier performance evaluation and supplier classification.
