Under the worsen situation of traffic congestion in city,we study the impact of parking fees on the resident travel mode choice with the thought of bounded rationality,which has an important significance for transportation department formulating a reasonable parking fee to adjust the structure of travel and ease traffic congestion.This dissertation takes residents' travel demand and travel mode choice as research objects,and does research on the impact of parking fee on resident travel mode choice with the thought of bounded rationality.Firstly,this dissertation analyzes influence factors of travel mode choice and designs "The impact of parking fee on the resident travel mode choice investigation questionnaire" so as to collect related data of this dissertation.Then,this dissertation builds a model of resident travel mode choice based on the prospect theory and set the related parameters of the model.Finally,this dissertation combines the established model with related survey data to analyze the change of resident travel mode choice with the parking fee increased.In this dissertation,the main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The parking fee has different influence on the travel mode choice of resident who has different travel purpose.On the whole,the impact of increasing parking fee on the non-commuter travel is greater than the impact of increasing parking.fee on the commuter travel.When the added value of parking fee ranges from 1 yuan per hour to 10 yuan per hour,the market share of private car in commuter travel falls by 8.5%,however,the market share of private car in non-commuter travel falls by 19%.(2)In terms of commuter travel,the sharing rate of private car decreases gradually as the parking fee increased,and the residents who give up to choose private car totally turn to choose public transport or other travel modes.In terms of non-commuter travel,the sharing rate of private car decreases gradually as the parking fee increased,and the residents who give up to choose private car partly turn to choose public transport or other travel modes,partly cancel this travel.Therefore,increasing parking fee not only can adjust resident travel structure and ease regional traffic congestion,but also can control the unnecessary travel demand.(3)The parking fee has different influence on the travel mode choice of resident who has different monthly income.On the whole,the impact of increasing parking fee on the middle-income resident is the largest,and the impact of increasing parking fee on the high-income resident is the least.When the added value of parking fee ranges from 1 yuan per hour to 10 yuan per hour,private car's sharing rate of high-income resident falls by 21.22%,private car's sharing rate of low-income resident falls by 29.89%,private car's sharing rate of middle-income resident falls by 35.85%.
