Based on the Marxist theory of international production price and centered around the value transfer issue in “South-North Trade”,this thesis analyzes the factors which influence the value transfer from developing to developed countries during the equal-value exchange of international trade, expands the analysis of influencing factors of value transfer in the theoretical circle of Marxism from the traditional mono-factor analysis of technology level(labor productivity, organic composition of capital, etc.)to multi-factor comprehensive analysis including industrial structure(industrial make-up),market scale and technology level. The major conclusions derived herein include:First, industrial structure(industrial percentage)has been exerting an important influence on the value transfer in “North-South Trade”: Along with the relative rise of the percentage of capital-intensive industries(or the relative fall of the percentage of labor-intensive industries)in developing countries, the value transfer from developing to developed countries has been declining gradually. However,it is impossible for developing countries to reverse the status quo of value transfer to developed countries only by changing the percentage of their existing industrial sectors.Second, market scale has been exerting an important influence on the value transfer in “North-South Trade”: Along with the relative expansion of market scale of developing countries, the percentage of the value transfer from developing to developed countries has been declining gradually,i.e.,the relative expansion of market scale is beneficial for developing countries. However,it is extremely difficult for developing countries to reduce their value transfer to developed countries only by expanding their own market scale.Third, the level of production technology has been exerting an important influence on the value transfer in “North-South Trade”: Along with the relative rise of production technology level of developing countries, the percentage of the value transfer from developing to developed countries has been declining gradually,i.e.,technological progress can reduce the value transfer from developing to developed countries. However, the difference of production technology level reflected by the organic composition of capital is not the only cause of value transfer.Based on above-mentioned major conclusions, this thesis refers to and draws on the important research achievements of the theory of dynamic comparative advantage, the theory of competitive advantage, the new theory of international trade and the theory of Marxist social division of labor, and puts forward corresponding policy suggestion for China to promote the progress of technology and upgrade industrial competitiveness under the expansion of market scale and adjustment of industrial structure.
