Study Of Effective Ways To Enterprises Implement Forward-looking Environmental Strategies

Textile clothing industry is one of China's traditional industries, bringing lots of economic benefits. At the same time its environment problem such as noise, sewage and waste, is increasingly prominent, causing concern. In the comprehensive society of ecological civilization construction, textile and garment enterprises should be put the vision in the long run, put environmental strategy in the enterprises' overall strategy, make the effective implementation for forward-looking environment strategies, fulfill their environment responsibility effectively, and promote enterprises to change the way of economic growth. Then, it will increase shareholder wealth.Ministry of Environmental Protection issued the regulations,? the guidelines of Environmental information disclosure of listed company?(Exposure draft),which list 16 sectors as heavy pollution industries including textile and garment industry. As one of the heavy pollution industries, textile and garment industry has a certain representation. Wastewater, waste gas, noise pollution and wastes of cutting edge of production process is currently the main source of environmental pollution of textile clothing industry. Enterprises are not only the entities of implementing environmental strategy, but also the entities of seeking to maximize shareholder wealth. If taking forward-looking environmental strategies can be consistent with the behavior of pursuiting maximizing shareholder wealth, if enterprise can pay equal attention to economic development and environmental protection, forward-looking environmental strategies would be preferred in enterprises. This article try to explain positive environment strategies which can bring value-added wealth of shareholders by establishing the model.In this article, through analyzing environmental information about 75 samples of listed companies of textile and garment industry in 2012—2014, it is concluded that the current condition of enterprises' environmental strategies. From the perspectives of resource-based theory and perspective of economic-agent, it analyze the necessity of implementation for forward-looking environmental strategies. Finally sum up the effective ways to implement forward-looking environmental strategies.
