With the trends of antenna like miniaturization, low cost, multi-band, manufacturers are forced to constantly developing technology to reduce costs, improve quality, which will undoubtedly bring big challenges to base station antenna manufacturers.R is the world-famous wireless communications technology company, and its strategic focus in 2016 is the base station antenna business. Facing with fierce domestic and international competition, company R must be customer-oriented, rapid response, to develop a high-quality and competitive antenna to win the profits. The company's existing project quality management can't be fully meet the needs of the market, its improvements will undoubtedly become an important step to seize market opportunities.This paper aims to study quality management for base station antennas project that suitable for company R, with comprehensive using various quality tools, analyze current situation, find out main reasons, and take improvement actions which focusing on improve several modules like process and system, staff training, IT tools and knowledge management, tools for dealing with problems to improve project quality, thereby reducing costs, improving efficiency that fit the company's strategy. Through the quality management improvement example on project X, we can verify the effectiveness of the improvements. This has great realistic and guiding significance for the company to carry out similar projects quality improvement in the future. What's more, it also can be used for reference to other enterprises for project quality improvement. In addition, due to the current study on project quality management of base station antennas is less, thus the improvement ideas can in some extent enrich the theory of project quality improvement for base station antenna.
