By effective demand management, improving the methods of sales forecasting, reengineering the process of demand management and perfecting performance indicators, it benefits the speed of responsiveness against customer demands, shorten delivery lead-time, lower the stock level of the supply chain and the R&D cost. Hence, effective demand management model can increase economic benefits of enterprises, help enterprises to establish competitive advantage,improve core competitiveness, and it is the important method for enterprise for health and sustainable development.This thesis is base on modern theories of supply chain management and S&OP,using theories of demand management to optimize the demand management of A company, so as to lower the cost and lift operational efficiency of the company. By analyzing the business status quo of demand management of the company, it aims to find out the existing problems and providing specific improving methods and optimizing measures in accordance to the future developing target of the company. On account of the change of sales model of A company, which caused by the fact that traditional lighting is transforming to LED lighting, this thesis focus on probing into improving the methods of sales forecasting, putting forward the methods of perfecting current sales forecasting and enhancing the accuracy of demand forecasting. Further,it consolidates the processes of S&OP, in order to lifting the efficiency of internal processes and timeliness of information transferring. Moreover, it perfects the KPI targets of demand management by streamlining and generalizing the targets.By the study of this paper, it provides ideas and methods for A company to further enhance and improving the operational level of demand management, assisting A company to sharpen managerial skills and obtaining continual competitive advantages under fierce competing lighting market environment. |
