The Analysis Of Flight Schedule Optimization In Xiamen Airlines

Xiamen airlines was built in 1984,head office based in Xiamen city Fujian province,with 6branches,including Beijing Branch,and 59 offices in the whole world.At present,the fleet of Xiamen Airlines is 150,including more than 130 B737 type,6 757 type and 6 787 type.It operates 320 domestic and foreign routes,covering the whole China,directing the Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia,connecting the Europe and Oceania.The passenger traffic volume is larger than 23 million per year.The profit of aviation industry is based scientific and reasonable route network and marketable capacity.Its profitability is up to the ability to adjust transport capacity flexibly according to the market.The principle of Xiamen Airlines is “the transport capacity following the market,the investment following the transport capacity”.Large network,wide route and concentrated flight numbers,miscellaneous types,which provide huge space of flight schedule optimization.Screening the feasible way with highest commercial value scientifically and efficiently,arranging the transport capacity reasonably in time,which plays a key role to promote profitability of Xiamen Airlines.On the basis of previous studies,my paper presents the flight schedule optimization frame construction of the Xiamen Airlines firstly,which describe the premise and evaluation criterion.It is composed of flight season optimization and local optimization in the view of time period and adding or canceling flight,aircraft type changing and time adjustment in the view of the way to optimization.Secondly,my paper introduces processes,methods and examples of flight season optimization circle and local optimization circle respectively.My paper states that the seasonal factors and pace of sales are the economical decision-making basis when we doing local optimization,while the change of market capacity is the basis of season optimization.As to aircraft type changing optimization,my paper establishes related computation algorithm by using classic assignment problem of operational research to optimize approximate solution.My paper searches ways of time adjustment,creates rare time adjustment model according to aircraft type changing mathematical model,and proposes the definitions and procedures of intensive and disadvantage time adjustment.Lastly,my paper enumerate the research achievements and innovative point of the Airline Schedule Optimization,and point out deficiencies of the aircraft type changing and above approximate computation algorithm which need to study and improve continuously.
