The three roller rolling process has many advantages because of production's high quality, low cost, the models which is commonly used in the production of seamless steel tube. The three rolling mill is multi-discipline that contains mechanical, hydraulic, automatic control technology, multi pump startup coordination control meets requirement mandrel pipe mill for the basic requirement of electric control system is every motor's speed need to hold its velocity by following some proportional relations. In three roller rolling mill control system, the speed of the single mill line between synchronous control and multiple frame speed synchronization control is an important factor. Especially for electric control system of steady-state and dynamic performance index requirements has great influence in the quality of seamless steel tube and has practical significance.In this paper, the application of multi motor synchronous is studied, and the main contents are as follows:(1) PSO-PI algorithm was applied to motor synchronous control because of the existing problems, for example, the speed synchronization error is bigger, time-varying, coupling faults, the controller adopts intelligent control with three rollers rolling mill of synchronous control using very well.(2) As the experiment platform control system adopts Siemens S7-300 PLC as the controller, Siemens software can compile the double closed loop PI control system programming, and WINCC man-machine interface program made the speed of image reflected in the changes of the configuration screen.(3) Setting up an appropriate model in the MATLAB simulation software according to the experimental platform structure and mathematical model of DC motor, which using PSO-PI algorithm to get the optimal parameter values, which contains pk ?ik, and to establish the model of stable precision, dynamic, response analysis and parameter setting, compared with the traditional PI control, the results show that the scheme of running accuracy is indeed higher than the traditional method, and more reliable.
