A new type of processing technology about heavy oil is to remove the residue such as asphalt and colloid by the way of supercritical fluid extraction, which can be used for raw oil with good processability in catalytic cracking or hydrocracking. The residue is needed to be separated from the gas-phase solvent and the solvent to be used circularly in order to lower production costs, because the extractive agent is the high-cost pentane. So there is special request for the spray granulation and the gas-solid separation in the granulation tower.The traditional granulation tower uses the gravity sedimentation principle to carry on the gas-solid separation, the volume is big, the separation efficiency is low.In this paper, the experimental study is carried out from the following five aspects, which provides a reference for improving the separation efficiency of the granulation separation tower.1, Analysis of the basic principles and factors affecting the granulation;2, Inferior residue of asphalt and colloid particles are formed after the need for gas-solid separation, cyclone separator is a typical representative of the centrifugal separator, but also for the study of mature a centrifugal separation equipment, analysis of the influencing factors of the the cyclone flow, pressure loss, efficiency and structure, and made up of a distributor of prilling tower;3, With the distributor spray granulation tower experimental device parts design and composition, measuring system and experimental method of determining, mainly to measure the intake air flow and pressure. The definition of experimental materials, feeding time, separation efficiency and pressure drop were determined. The experimental apparatus is introduced;4, According to the experimental purpose, scheme, procedure and results of the separation performance of spray granulation tower, the separation performance of the spray granulation tower is analyzed. Mainly research the distribution tube (nozzle) number:two, three and four. Experimental comparison of these distributors were performed, in the final analysis distributing device, tilt angle and other parameters of prilling tower separation efficiency and pressure drop effect and draw separation efficiency and volume, distributor pendulum angle and separation efficiency, for further optimizing the experimental facility proposes the improvement program and the theoretical basis;5, The performance comparison between the traditional separation tower and the high efficiency spray separation device, from the experimental and theoretical aspects, the relationship between the total pressure drop, the separation efficiency and the gas volume was studied., further illustrates the distributor of prilling tower separation effect to is obviously superior to the traditional of the granulation tower. Efficiency of the distributor pipe while with the increase of air flow, material of back mixing also to strengthen, resulting in the efficiency decreased, but changes in the efficiency of the relatively flat, significantly outperforms the conventional direct injection separation.Through the above research, granulation and separation tower nozzle is guiding pipe by the circular array distribution in a total distribution of the pipe is composed of connection, branch number and location of a plane with a horizontal plane angle are can be changed, this experiment had more flexibility and maneuverability. In this paper, we focus on the separation of the new type of granulation tower, the separation performance of the experiment, optimize the structure of the granulation tower, improve the gas separation efficiency.
