Vertical roller mill is a kind of large scale equipment for grinding materials,widely used in industries of cement,electricity,ceramics,metallurgy.Rocker arm transmitting pressure to the roller,it's important part in loading system of vertical roller mill and vital to its reliability and security.The present domestic design of vertical roller mill mainly rely on introducing and digesting foreign technology.The study of some key issues is not enough,and the design generally based on experiences.It existing a lot of repetitive working in design and the efficiency is not high.It can't implement rapid design to satisfy client's request.Taking the rocker arm of a kind of slag vertical roller mill as research object.It has six rollers,including three home rollers and three subsidiary rollers.Parameterizing the rocker arm structure,making structure analysis and optimization design based on ANSYS APDL language and genetic algorithm for the problems of large mass and low design efficiency.The paper concentrates on:(1)Detailedly analyzed the structure and technological process of vetical roller mill.Introduced the key steps of genetic algorithm.And analyzed the controls parameters' evaluation of genetic algorithm for population size,crossing rate,aberration rate and convergence criterion.(2)Measured the oil pressure change of the system of home roller and rocker arm,and taked the data as load-step in the subsequent analysis.Selected six dimensions of rocker arm structure as parameters.Writing command stream file of parameterized finite element analysis process in ANSYS APDL language.On this basis,Analyzed the structure of rocker arm,obtained the influence rule of the six parameters and maximum stress,displacement and primary frequency.(3)Constructed the mathematical model of optimization for minimizing mass of the rocker arm.Combined ANSYS APDL language and genetic algorithm toolbox integrated in numerical calculation software MATLAB.Achieved the invoking of ANSYS by MATLAB and parameter passing.Analyzed the influence rule of mass,maximum stress and displacement and primary frequency with evolving generation.And analyzed the influence of genetic algorithm by different aberration rate.The research provides theoretical and technical reference for rocker arm structure analysis and optimization.It's important to light weight and economy of vertical roller mill.The parameterized model makes automatic modeling and analyzing calculating,greatly decreases the workload,increases the design efficiency.It has some reference value for similar problems.
