The grinding equipment is widely used in metallurgy, steel, mining, buildingmaterials and cement industries. The ball mill is the typical traditional grindingequipment. With the development of society, people need to study new grindingequipment continuously. The Continuous application of large-scale roll grindingmachine grinding has become the development trend of the industry. Energyconsumption has significantly reduced because of the Roller Mill appeared, and theproduction environment has been changed. The economic and social benefits arebecoming very considerable.In this paper, Structural Analysis and Finite Element Analysis have been used. Thelower rocker, upper rocker and other parts of the vertical mill have been chosen. as theobject of study, and then carried out structural analysis. The geometric model of the upand lower rocker arm of the vertical mill has been established using of SolidWorks. Thegeometric model of the up and lower rocker arm has been meshed.By adding constraintsand applying different loads, static analysis has been carried out. And cloud deformationand stress have been obtained. The strength and rigidity of the key parts has been furtherdefined, and this is a rational design.By actual site installation and commissioning, the new install technology of avertical mill has been obtained, the vertical mill installation quality has been greatlyimproved by researching of precision process control. The construction period has beendecreased and the cost has been saved, good economic and social benefits have beenachieved. The main outcome of the studies include: the "sit slurry method" has beenapplied to basic framework to improve the accuracy of equipment alignment. The "pullmethod" has been applied to column to alignand weld, the large-tonnage componentshoisting has used "CAD-aided design technology" method. The gland of rollerexpansion sets has used "two fixed three-point lifting Law" alignment. The vertical shaftof Separator has used "top wire method alignment. The rotor rod shroud of Separatorhas used "V"+"-" fixation alignment and so on.
