| With the increasing importance of personalization, costume design and development has moved their focus from taking the producer as the principal thing to the customer. Therefore, if people want to have a good costume design, they need to consider not only customers’physiological needs, but also psychological needs. As a way to set apart from different design features, clothing style is a important factor to impact customers’choice. But different customers have different ideas about clothing style. It’s difficult to give a definition to each style and design clothing that depends on it. So designers need an effective way to catch the customers’ thoughts and realize them. That is what Kansei engineering do to help costumers designers.In this study,20 sheets of women’s representative fashion style pictures and 8 pairs of adjectives with opposite meaning were selected for the Kansei of fashion style through using questionnaire from 25-40 aged office ladies. By using statistical software package SPSS 11.0 to analyze the data, we can realize more about the relationship between factors that affect the fashion styles of women and the sensory psychology of consumers by knowing what fashion style they like. The results showed that the sensory needs of human for fashion style were composed of sex factor and individuality factor. The relationships between conceptive factors affecting fashion style and style sensibility were manifested directly by means of the line and bulk of style or the quadrant of different styles. |
