The fiber of electroless silver plating has become the main material of electromagnetic shielding clothing in recent years, the quality and properties directly affect the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the product. This paper uses polyamide fiber as the matrix, by chemical plating technology, including the process of roughening, sensitization, activation and Redox reactions. Prepared for electromagnetic shielding clothing of silver fiber.Firstly, explore the degreasing effect of sodium hydroxide and acetone. Experiments show that acetone is superior to sodium hydroxide, which can completely remove oil nylon surface.Secondly, explore the nylon roughening treatment process. The results show that using 10% hydrochloric acid with low-frequency shocking for 60 min can get better spent promoting effect;Studying the process of sensitization and activation is an important step in electroless silver plating. The results show that using 15g/L of SnCl2, ultrasonic vibration for 40 min, obtains good effect; using 0.3g/L of PdCl2, standing for 40 min, obtains best activation effect.The reduction process was studied. Research has shown that the optimum reduction: concentration of glucose is 6g/L, silver nitrate concentration of 10g/L, 25g/L ethanol concentration, thiourea concentration of 0.4 mg/L, pH 11, bath ratio of 1:8; 0.6g/L of formaldehyde concentration, silver nitrate concentration of 10g/L, 25g/L ethanol concentration, thiourea concentration of 0.4 mg/L, pH 11, bath ratio of 1:10.Electron microscopy shows that the silver layer structure obtains good fastness, integrity, weight loss rate of less than 5% after ultrasonic cleaning five times.Antibacterial experiments show that the inhibitory rate of silver plated fabric reached 90.6%, which use glucose as reducing agent; the inhibitory rate of silver plated fabric reached 88.9%, which formaldehyde as reducing agent.The experimental results show that the shielding effectiveness of the silver plated fabric is 99.9929%, which use glucose as reducing agent, and the shielding effectiveness of the silver plated fabric is 99.9878%, which use formaldehyde as reducing agent.
