Four-roller plate bending machine were widely used in aerospace,instrumentation,pressure vessels,construction machinery and other industries for its directly pre-bending,smaller remaining straight edge and automate production.However,the existing machine have several problems that poor accuracy and low efficiency.Therefore,the four-roller plate bending machine winding mechanism,precision control and other aspects were studied in this article.The main work can be accomplished as follows:(1)Analyzed the plate forming mechanism and the process of the four-roller plate bending.Derived out the calculation formula of bending springback using elastoplasticity theory.Analyzed and calculated the force situation of the four axis in the process of plate bending.Established four-roller plate bending mathematics model,got the relationship between the displacement of side roll and the radius of forming plate.(2)Established the finite-element analysis model of the four-roller plate bending process based on ANSYS/LS-DYNA simulation platform.Simulated the whole four-roller plate bending process with three dimensional dynamic,got the relationship between the displacement of side roll and the radius of forming plate.Made an experiment on plate bending,compared the differences of the simulate radius.actual radius and theory radius,analyzed the reason led the differences.Validated the feasibility that using simulation analysis to develop plate bending craft parameter.(3)Made theory analysis for the flexural deformation in the side roll of the four-roller plate bending machine.Calculated the flexural deformation for two situation:non compensation and compensation with support roll,got the flexural curve equation of the side roll.Proposed the specific program of the deflection compensation for the side roll,used AutoCAD Mechanical software to optimized the compensation location and the force distribution.Determined the type and parameter of the compensation device,and designed the structure of the compensation device.(4)Performed the finite element analysis for the machine bed,found the weaknesses that affected the quality of plate forming.Improved the structural of the machine bed,increased the stiffness and reduced the body weight to meet the high precision requirements for the four-roller plate bending machine.
