In recent years,gas drilling is applied more and more widely as an effective way to deal with complex geology.But it is prone to arise some conditions,like wellbore collapse and rock burst at the bottom.Therefore,a safety monitoring system is necessary to ensure the safe operation of gas drilling.When the abnormal condition happens,the flow of cuttings change suddenly and large grain cuttings increase significantly in clearance pipeline.It can provide a basis for judging and preventing the occurrence of underground accidents by monitoring the change of large grain cuttings flow timely and precisely.In this paper,based on the analysis of the characteristics of the audio signal produced by large grain cuttings,the monitoring method is studied for large backing cuttings in gas drilling.First of all,according to the investigation of the cuttings' size in the abnormal condition,the acquisition method is designed to collect the audio signal of cuttings impact and interference.Secondly,the sound segment's starting and ending point are found according to the short-time energy and then their characteristic parameters are analyzed.The mixed parameters of MFCC are selected to form the template library and artificial neural network is used to eliminate the interference of voice.Finally,the paper analyzes the characteristics of different cuttings,and calculates the cuttings size by using the hidden Markov model and the energy method,and verifies the availability of the method on MATLAB.On the basis of the theoretical research,the safety monitoring system of the cuttings condition in clearance pipeline is designed.The system's hardware part includes PC,external sound card,audio cable,microphone,sound insulation material.The software part uses C#to compile the monitoring interface and the SQL Server database to store the monitoring information.Through testing,the system can meet the requirements of real-time and accuracy.Through a large number of experimental results show that the judgment method of two level,which uses audio processing technology to eliminate the interference of voice,and then identify the size of cuttings,is suitable for the monitoring the cuttings in clearance pipeline,can provide a powerful guarantee for the safe operation of gas drilling,and has high practical value.
