Rosin is a valuable renewable resource,and the main component is resin acid.The highly processed products of rosin are widely used in many fields,such as oil paint,soap,printing ink,pesticide,perfume,cosmetics,food,medicine,and so on.In recent decades,to solve the question that the processing and utilization of rosin are remained in the low technology level,and researchersemphasized their study on improving the utilization efficiency and value of rosin.The researcheson rosin modification needs to be fully realized the basic properties of rosin,especially in basic physical and thermodynamic properties.The completed thermodynamic properties data can be theoretically guide the feasibility of program and reaction in resin acid modification,and establish a basis for the development of resin.Thus,the basic physical properties and thermodynamic properties of 29 kinds of resin acid and its derivatives were studied in this paper,and a inquire software was established for resin acid and its derivativesthermodynamic properties.1.The basic physical properties,contains critical properties(temperature,pressure,volume),melting point and boiling point,of resin acid and its derivatives was estimated by group contribution method(Joback,CG and Beson method).Moreover,Joback,C-G and Beson method were also used to estimate the thermodynamic properties of resin components.Standard formation enthalpy,entropy,constant pressure heat capacity and standard gibbs free energy were included in the estimation.2.Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)was used to identify the melting point,melting enthalpy,and specific heat of 5 kinds of resin acid derivatives.3.Thermal analysis technique was used to study thermal degradation kinetics of 5 kinds of resin acid derivatives.The thermal degradation kinetics parameters:apparent activation energy,the former factor and mechanism of function were calculated.4.The inquire software was established by storing the basic physical properties and thermodynamic properties data of 29 kinds of resin acid and its derivatives in Access database,and using Visual Basic language to write the query process.
