The research of new materials,especially natural fiber materials,is concerned,while the traditional industry of textiles and fibers faces dilemma due to the the scale decrease of cotton and the severe shortage of oil resources.The bulrushes,rich in China,have great value for development,due to the functions including heat-clearing and warm-keeping.This article analyses the properties of bulrush fibers after biochemicall deguming,and the processing properties for spinning,so as to control the processes of deguming and spinning.Three kinds of different leaves of enzyme bulrushes,pectinase,cellulase and xylanase,are degummed and compared.The following conclusions are obtained by controlling the process.(1)The ratio of residual gum decreases sharply and then rises gradually,the break strength of bulrush fibers decreasing gradually,and the elong rate of fibers first rising and then decreasing,as the concentration of enzyme rises gradually.(2)The ratio of residual gum decreases and then rises,the break strength of bulrush fibers decreasing gradually,and the elong rate of fibers first rising and then decreasing,as the time continues.The whiteness of fibers first rises and then decreases for xylanase and pectinase,while it generally rises for cellulase.(3)With the rise of temperature,the ratio of residual gum decreases and then rises,while the break strength of bulrush fibers decreases and then rises for xylanase and cellulase,the resulting fibers meeting the requirements of spinnability.For pectinase,the break strength decreases,while the elong rate of fibers after deguming has no obvious changes with the whiteness rising and then decreasing.(4)With the rise of pH,the ratio of residual gum first decreases and then rises for xylanase and cellulase,while the break strength decreases for pectinase and cellulase,and decreases for xylanase.The whiteness also rises and then decreases for the three.Besides,in terms of spinning designing,several ratios of three substances,trial cottons,viscose and polyester fibers,are designed in the blending experiment.The following conclusions can be obtained according to the experiment.(1)With the increase of blending ratio,the index value of yarn twist decreases gradually.(2)With the ratio increasing,the evenness decreases,neps of thick and thin yarn increasing gradually.(3)Compared with pure cotton yarn,the breaking elongation of the blending of cotton and bulrush is relatively higher.(4)Compared with pure cotton yarn,haimess of the blending of bulrush fibers improves greatly.This article blends bulrush fibers with cotton,viscose and polyester fibers,and finds that indexes of yarn are relatively good as the blending ratio of bulrush fibers is 30-50%.
