In recent years,with the increasing awareness of health at home and abroad,electronic cigarette has gradually become a substitute for traditional cigarettes and the market sales soared.Many large tobacco companies have been highly active from the strategic research and development,promotion of electronic cigarette products.The amount of Electronic cigarette smoke is one of the most important indexes to evaluate the quality of the electronic cigarette.Now most of the electronic cigarette smoke measurement detection methods are not online,non-quantitative measurement at home and abroad and it is not perfect.Therefore,it is urgent to find a more effective online and quantitative electronic cigarette smoke measurement detection method.In order to realize the on-line and quantitative measurement of the amount of electronic cigarette smoke,the experimental subjects have summarized the more common measurement methods after investigating a large number of tobacco-related literatures about smoke amount,and it has been analyzed and researched combining with the actual characteristics of electronic cigarette.After researching a great deal of related literatures,this research subject first introduces the theoretical basis of the two technical schemes of the measurement of the amount of electronic cigarette smoke and solves the theoretical measurement problem.Secondly,the feasibility of two kinds of technical scheme is verified.One technical scheme for measuring the amount of electronic cigarette smoke is the principle of thermal mass flow-meter and the other is to use the light transmission method.The amount of electronic cigarette smoke is measured by a self-built experimental platform.The experimental results show that both technical schemes can realize the real-time,on-line and quantitative measurement of the amount of electronic cigarette smoke.After verifying the feasibility of the technical scheme for measuring the amount of electronic cigarette smoke,combined with the relevant requirements of Yunnan Tobacco Industry Co.,Ltd.,based on the Lambert-Beer law,the light transmission method was used to develop a real-time,on-line and quantitative measurement engineering prototype for the measurement of the amount of electronic cigarette smoke.After the design of the key components and parameters of the measuring system,such as the thickness of the absorbing layer and the wavelength of the light source of the system,and the design of the whole system of the prototype,a prototype for measuring the amount of electronic cigarette smoke was made out.After the prototype production is completed,the main experiment is to calibrate the prototype.First,the key extinction coefficient is measured.After the extinction coefficient is obtained,the function of real time,online and quantitative measurement of the amount of electronic cigarette smoke is realized by the system measurement program,and the influence factors of the measurement accuracy of the prototype are analyzed after the prototype error precision measurement experiment.The experimental results show that the engineering prototype can realize the functions of real-time,on-line and quantitative measurement,and has wide measurement range,high measurement accuracy and small measurement error.It solves the problem of quantitative measurement of the amount of electronic cigarette smoke,and has a profound impact on the healthy development of electronic cigarette industry.
