Cordyceps Inclusion And Microcapsule Preparation Research

Cordyceps militaris has many active ingredients and a wide range of physiological functions,but it has a smell of fish,slightly bitter,poor taste and its effective components are easy to oxidize;the inner of ?-CD structure is hydrophobic while the surface is hydrophilic,which leads to the fact that it could form inclusion complexes with many drug molecules and therefore improve the physical and chemical properties and pharmaceutical properties of the drug molecules.Microcapsule technology owns the advantages of isolating active components,covering up bad smell,controlled release,controlled targeting and so on,which makes drug products with potential biological activity be widely used.To meet consumers with different consumption ideas,this paper researched and developed two kinds of Cordyceps militaris products using the technology of inclusion and microencapsulation.We obtained higher apparent binding constant of ?-CD dissolving the effective components of Cordyceps by UV,which suggested that the effective components of Cordyceps can form stable inclusion complexes with ?-CD,and we further ensured that the mass ratio of 1:1 was the best inclusion ratio.For the inclusion of effective components of Cordyceps by using ?-CD,we found out the best preparation process of powder,and then we verified the formation of micro powder by the thermal analysis and the micron zing effect of Cordyceps by solubilization and stability experiment.The results showed that the adding of ?-CD micro powder can significantly increase the dissolution of the active components and improve the stability of effective components.The best core material ratio 10:1 was determined by UV combined with orthogonal experimental method using water-soluble thermo sensitive polymer as microcapsules.Further the formation of microcapsules was verified by the Differential thermo gravimetric analysis and the release of effective components was examined by HPLC.The results of influencing factors experiment demonstrated that the stability of Cordyceps capsule against high temperature,high humidity and light environment was significantly improved.In this paper,the prescriptions of Cordyceps inclusion and microencapsulate tablets were screened based on the solubility indicator.Then the quality control were studied,the results of which revealed that tablet two prescriptions were qualified in appearance,weight difference,hardness,disintegration time,solubility and stability.In this paper,we successfully explored two kinds of preparation,named the Cordyceps inclusion and microcapsule tablets which effectively solved the shortcomings of the present technology.We provided two formulations for the industrial production with easy method of operation,simple equipment,excellent product performance,low cost,and easy to accept by consumers,and also provided a new method and idea for better development and utilization of Cordyceps and other valuable Chinese herbal medicine.
