Cordyceps militaris is a new resource food whose pharmacological effects include anti-aging,anti-oxidation,anti-tumor,anti-inflammatory,anti-proliferative,immuno-regulatory,immune function,kidney protection,neuroprotection and hypoglycemic features.Moreover,a large number of studies have also shown that active extracts of Cordyceps militaris,such as cordycepic acid(mannitol),cordycepin(3'-deoxyadenosine),and Cordyceps polysaccharide active substances all have hypoglycemic effect,but for Cordyceps relatively few studies.Therefore,in this experiment,the protein in Cordyceps militaris was used as the research object.After separation,purification and identification,the effect of the hypoglycemic treatment on diabetic mice was observed,which provided a functional theoretical basis for the development of related products of Cordyceps militaris.In this experiment,Bacillus licheniformis fermentation method was used to prepare active C.militaris peptide.The components were separated and purified by ultrafiltration combined with column chromatography,and impurities were removed by dialysis to obtain the molecular weights of the three components.It is less than 5K,5-10 K,and more than 10 K.The SDS-PAGE electrophoresis method was used to identify the molecular weight of Cordyceps sinensis peptides.The linear relationship between the mobility and molecular weight of the protein bands was used to calculate the molecular weight of the components above10 kD was 34 kD?22 kD,and the molecular weight of the components less than 10 kD was 6.5.kD?3.3 kD.In this experiment,STZ-induced type I diabetic mice were selected and observed whether the active ingredient was tested in vivo for hypoglycemic effect.The relevant indicators of the mice were observed during the experiment.The results showed that: Compared with normal mice,diabetic mice lost weight and increased water consumption,and the correlation coefficients of organ weights showed differences.Different doses of Cordyceps militaris can significantly improve some indicators in diabetic mice.Therefore,Cordyceps has a certain efficacy in the treatment of diabetes.
