PDM drill is a kind of drilling tool as the driving force,the liquid pressure energy into mechanical energy volume down-hole drilling,widely used in marine,desert,economically developed areas and a variety of special occasions drilling.Among them,the screw rotor manufacturing technology has been a key problem for many years,and the main difficulty lies in the code generation of NC machining screw rotor.To establish the simulation model of screw rotor accurately,and to generate accurate screw machining code and machining parameters,it has positive significance for improving the machining efficiency and machining accuracy of screw rotors in our country.Aiming at the simulation machining of screw rotor,the following work is mainly carried out:(1)Using computer numerical analysis technology,the finite element analysis model of cutting process is established by using the finite element simulation software Advantedge,and the finite element simulation of the milling process is carried out.On the basis of theoretical analysis of the machining characteristics and performance of screw parts,a specific cutting method,cutting tools and milling parameters are selected,and a three-dimensional cutting test finite element model is established.Remeshing techniques of simulation test set using the adaptive grid technology and grid simulation,cutting process simulation in the process of changing from big size to the path of cutting parameters,combined with theoretical knowledge of cutting process,the simulation of cutting force,temperature changes,analysis of cutting parameters influence on the performance of screw rotor milling cutting study,characteristics and trends of cutting force and cutting temperature under different cutting conditions,to provide guidance for the reasonable selection of cutting parameters.(2)Orthogonal test design by using regression analysis method to derive the screw rotor surface milling force formula,and put forward the optimization method of feed speed of nearly constant cutting force under the condition of the screw rotor model created by the UG software open grip function,and by creating a work environment to generate tool path,a post processing the processing code.(3)In the VERICUT machine simulation model is established,using the NC code generation of UG geometry simulation,through the analysis of simulation and analysis of machining quality and error,verify the basic cutting force under the condition of constant feed rate optimization model in solving the machining process because of cutting force fluctuations lead to unstable problem of cutting process.The accuracy of AdvantEdge FEM 3D model simulation is verified by simulation processing technology.According to the existing experimental equipment conditions,that using the finite element method can replace part of cutting experiments of screw rotor milling process,provide a theoretical basis for the improvement of production technology and its future series of parameter optimization tool.
