Nickel-based alloy GH4169 and aluminum alloy A357 is widely used in manufacturing of metal products, How to efficiently process the two metals and raw metal into geometric shapes that we need has always been specialists in metal cutting research focus? The high-speed cutting processes of nickel-based alloy GH4169 and aluminum alloy A357 as our object, base on the elastic-plastic theory and two-dimensional Oxley plane shear deformation theory, we establish the finite element model of the cutting process? We study the high speed machining mechanism of the two materials, in order to establish nickel-based alloy GH4169 and aluminum alloy A357 establishment of high efficient machining process specifications? The details are as follows:First of all, we discuss several key issues of the high-speed cutting process, such as, two kinds of chip formation mechanism in high speed cutting, the four kinds of constitutive metal model, Dynamic fracture of metal could be produced during the cutting process, cutter chip interface problems and how cutting heat generation and transmission, those are the basis of finite element numerical model in this paper, this article emphatically expounded?Secondly, based on the finite element software ABAQUS, we establish the model for the high-speed cutting processes of nickel-based alloy GH4169 and aluminum alloy A357, we simulated the model and compared with the other data that we can conform, so it is proved right? In finite element simulation of metal cutting process, we adopts the single factor method, respectively analyzes the cutting speed?back engagement of the cutting edge and rake angle and back angle of the tool on cutting process of stress field, temperature field and the influence of the processing surface quality? We got the cutting force with speed, milling cutter and tool rake angle clearance angle variation? It has a certain significance to the actual process? Finally, we summarize the work that we have done, and make certain predictions that the finite element simulation of metal high speed cutting process?...
