With the increasing demands on firing accuracy of modern warfare,especially in the face of the shortcomings of conventional uncontrolled ammunition's large spread and poor precision,more and more attention payed to the trajectory correction technology.Deflection nose control is a unique method of trajectory correction,which is installed in the uncontrolled ammunition to improve the shooting accuracy of projectile,but it also exists the aerodynamic characteristics and other issues.In this paper,the aerodynamic characteristics and the trajectory correction of the projectiles are studied by using numerical simulation,theoretical modeling analysis and test experiment.The main contents are as follows:(1)A kind of piezoelectric actuating warhead deflection mechanism was designed and whose mechanism and the kinematic characteristics are both studied.Simulation results show that the optimized mechanism achieves a larger deflection angle and more stable motion characteristics.(2)The aerodynamic characteristics of the projectile are simulated by numerical methods and deduced by theoretical methods.The expressions of the aerodynamic characteristics under the nose deflected with multiple DOF are obtained by two methods.The gap between two sets of aerodynamic characteristics is small by comparing them.The obtained aerodynamic characteristic expression provides a theoretical basis for the next step of trajectory correction.(3)Based on the expression of aerodynamic characteristics,the trajectory correction ability of the defelectable nose control is analyzed.The simulation results show that the ballistic accuracy of projectile can be improved by ballistic correction.According to the characteristics of falling point after the trajectory trajectory correction,two kinds of deflecting nose control methods are put forward.Through the data sample test,the two ballistic control methods have higher accuracy.
