Oil mist filter is the main equipment for oil mist separation,and it has been widely used in the field of oil mist filtering.The performance test system cannot meet the requirements of high oil mist density under high flow rate because of the complex structure and less flexibility of oil mist density.For these problems,firstly,the filtration performance test system for oil mist filter is designed;Secondly,the atomization system under large flow rate is designed and the contrast experiment is implemented;Finally,the filtration performance of two oil mist filters with different filter core is measured under different filtration condition.In this paper,the main research work is as follows:(1)The filtration performance test system is designed based on ISO test standard.In view of the present difficulties in generation of high oil mist density under large flow rate,several atomization systems are designd.By contrast experiment of the atomizing performance,the system of parallel connection of air-blast lubricator is adopted as the atomization system.(2)The filter core of pleated filter and stacked filter are reasonable simplified and modelled.The models are meshed and the boundary conditions are set properly.According to the characteristics of oil mist filtration,the porous medium model and proper solver are chosen.The numerical simulation of the pressure distribution of filter core in steady filtration stage under different oil mist density and flow rate is studied.(3)The pressure drop and filtration efficiency of pleated filter and stacked filter in diferent filtration stage are studied when the filtration conditon(oil mist density and flow rate)is different.In unsteady filtration stage,the variation of the pressure drop and filtration efficiency with time are measured,and the comparative analysis of filtration performance is implemented.In steady filtration stage,the pressure drop and filtration efficiency of pleated filter and stacked filter under different oil mist density and flow rate are studied,and the experiment and simulation results are compared.At the interval of every 12 hours when the filter core being saturated,the effect of intermittent filtering on the filtration performance is studied.Finally,the filtration performance of pleated filter and stacked filter is evaluated through the apprasial index of filtration performance.
