Masonry structure is widely used in the building structure of our country, most of the civil buildings built in our country before 1980s used the masonry structure. With the construction of the long-term use, many buildings have appeared the phenomenon of aging,in addition, the masonry material is a brittle material, the tensile strength, shear strength and bending strength are relatively low,in order to ensure the normal use of the building, while saving more money and material input, strengthening technology is more and more deep the industry's focus on building structure. This paper summarizes the existing masonry wall masonry structure reinforcement technology, introduces the current research status of bonded steel reinforcement of masonry wall at home and abroad. And the use of finite element software calculation model, the reinforcement effect of four kinds of paste were compared and discussed the vertical stress, thickness and width of the wall plate more than three factors of steel reinforcement effect of masonry structure.Through the finite element analysis,The main conclusions are as follows:1?Finite element calculation of reinforced brick masonry wall results obtained by using different paste steel plate, after the wall seismic performance after reinforcement are improved significantly. When the rate of a certain area of the steel plate, the lattice type reinforcement effect is the best.Under the condition of not considering the amount of steel, the crack load and ultimate load of the reinforced wall strengthened by the whole steel plate are the most, which is 89.3%?187.0%higher than that of the unreinforced wall.2?According to the comparison of ductility coefficient and energy dissipation capacity obtained by finite element analysis, the plastic deformation capacity of Q2,Q3,Q4,Q5 after the strengthening of each model is obviously enhanced.Under the condition of a certain amount of steel, the reinforcement effect of the lattice steel plate is the best.3?In the future design of steel reinforced masonry walls, the relationship between the vertical bearing capacity of the wall and the load on the upper walls should be considered. When the vertical wall is 0.5 times the normal stress is greater than the average compressive strength of masonry, will reduce with the increase of vertical stress and wall's bearing capacity, bearing capacity of steel will increase with the vertical stress and the price is low, resulting in decreased utilization of steel plate.4?Under the same conditions, with the increase of the thickness of the steel plate, the cracking load and the ultimate load of wall is greatly increased, but the increase in the thickness of the steel plate of 5mm to 4mm,when the ultimate load of wall changed more gently, and the thicker steel plate cost is high, should according to the specific circumstances to choose optimal reinforcement scheme of the economy.5?The wall height width ratio increases, the cracking load and the ultimate load of the wall are gradually decreased,so the height width ratio of wall is too large,do not recommend the use of steel reinforcement of the wall reinforcement, should adopt other suitable reinforcement.
