With the coming of information era,the focus of buildings has been changing from satisfying fundamental function requirements and industrial manufacturing to pursuing spatial experience.Architects found some limitations of modern constructions.Modernist architects consider buildings as living machines,neglecting people’s spatial experience.The clear division of building functions makes architectural usage efficiently,but can’t satisfy the integrated requirements of life.The cultural aspect of architecture and comprehensiveness of architecture functions are being pursued.The attribute of architecture,being a cultural consumer item,has been becoming prominent.For creating spatial experience,architects choose the experimental field of interdisciplinary research.As an art of space and time,movie has many similarities with architecture.Architects begin to learn from movie to find these similarities,and to enrich spatial experience of architecture by translating these similarities.Since professor Pascal Schoning from AA put forward the concept of film architecture,some architects studied the possibility of combination of movie and architecture.However,these studies are limited to logical similarity in theory,but without systemic study which ravels out the influences of the way of thinking of movie made to architecture.This thesis studies on architecture experience in the way of thinking of movie,trying to provide a new research approach for the interdisciplinary research of movie and architecture.This thesis consists of six chapters.Chapter one,the introduction,introduces the background and significance of this topic and its research scope and purpose,meanwhile,presents domestic and foreign research situation,also the research method and frame of this thesis.Chapter two studies on the relevance between the way of thinking of movie and architecture experience.Chapter three studies the collage,montage,categories of narrative structure and the multimedia propagation characteristic of movie,also illustrates the relevance between movie and architectural experience,then puts forward the direction of architectural experience design.Chapter four comes up with a translating method and a way to use way of thinking of movie in creating architectural experience after discussing the fast and slow motions of movie,montage and the immaterial propagation of image information.Chapter five takes the reconstruction design of a vegetable market in Jinshui District,Zhengzhou for instance,arguing the promotion of architecture spatial experience in the help with the way of thinking of movie.Chapter six,the conclusion part,concludes the research result above,rethinks problem s unsolved and expects relevant studies.
