As an important influence factor for the robust stability of the system,the reactive power directly relates to the safe and stable operation of power system,and the reactive power compensation is an important measure to ensure the stability of power grid.Based on the reactive power compensation of low voltage power distribution system as the research background,the paper expound the system reactive power compensation technology development present situation,detailed analysis of the related principle of the reactive power compensation technology,and then designed a type of TSC reactive compensation intelligent controller based on C8051F360.The reactive power compensation controller uses compound control strategy of voltage and reactive power,on the basis of the two discriminant of voltage and reactive power for voltage and reactive power integrated control.That is,the quality of the voltage acts as the prerequisite for reactive power adjustment,to realize the basic balance of reactive power through the reasonable cutting capacitance.This control strategy not only reduces the network loss,but also take into account the voltage quality.In terms of compensation capacitor switching on-off control,this paper adopts zero-cut switching mode,in order to effectively suppress switching surge current,to avoid damage to the capacitor and related electrical components.Based on the idea of reactive compensation control,this paper developed and designed the complete hardware and software circuit.The hardware part mainly includes CPU peripheral circuit design,signal acquisition and measurement circuit design,control output circuit design,human-computer interaction circuit design,system power supply circuit design,etc.The controller has high sampling precision,advanced and reasonable control strategy,and it has the characteristics of high interactivity and high reliability.It has the advantages of high speed,precision of control and the rationality and safety of switching control.Reactive power compensation incomparable superiority.Finally,a simulation example model is set up under the MATLAB/SIMULINK platform,and the feasibility and effectiveness of the reactive power compensation controller designed in this paper are verified by system simulation.The simulation results with the combination of PSCAD show that the TSC reactive compensation intelligent control system based on voltage and reactive power compound control has good effect in stabilizing the system voltage and improving the power factor.
