The development process of each country is accompanied by the continuous improvement of urbanization rate,the population continues to migrate to a second-tier cities,to the metropolitan area gathering.High degree of urbanization will inevitably lead to the construction of urban buildings increasingly toward the high-rise high-volume rate of the direction of development.High-level and a variety of complex buildings continue to emerge,to the building structure engineers to bring constant challenges,the need for more scientific and feasible seismic theory to guide the seismic design of building structures.The theory of seismic design also evolves from the theory of static elasticity to the theory of response spectrum and even today's dynamic elastoplastic theory.Based on the performance of seismic design theory around 2000,a large number of studies carried out around the world and quickly applied to the engineering seismic design practice,is currently the mainstream theory of engineering seismic design.Based on the performance of seismic design is very suitable for China's high-rise building structure design,the theory is an extension of China's structural norms;China's current GB50011-2010 "anti-regulation" and JGJ3-2010 "high rules" has been based on performance seismic design theory frame.Based on the extensive reading of domestic and foreign literature and the norms of our country,this paper elaborates the development course of performance-based seismic design theory,the traditional seismic design theory and the performance-based seismic design theory,and has carried on the reflection to our country standard.Finally,this paper combines a specific project for its performance-based seismic design analysis.In the process of analysis,the finite element software SATWE and ETABS are used to analyze the engineering examples.The finite element software CSICOL was used to verify the bearing capacity of ordinary vertical members and key members under the action of fortified earthquake.The finite element software ABAQUS is used to analyze the dynamic and plastic time history of the engineering instance under rare earthquakes and check the elastic-plastic displacement angle of the weak layer to ensure the safety of life under the action of large earthquake.Finally,through the analysis of the results of the concept of seismic design and seismic construction measures to ensure that the project examples to achieve "small earthquake is not bad,the earthquake can be repaired,the earthquake does not fall," the fortification target.Based on the performance of the seismic design of structural engineers,owners and project users on the same decision-making platform,so that they according to the characteristics of the project to select the project seismic performance objectives,which increases the design transparency is also conducive to the new structure of the building system,New technology,new technology development.
