With the gradually used of wet clutch,the research on the torque of engagement has an important influence on the design and application of wet clutch.A heavy vehicle transmission device of a wet clutch is taken as the research object,and it takes the methods of theoretical modeling,simulation and test of the wet clutch to build the model of torque of engagement process.Each phase is analyzed and calculated,using the simulation and test to complete the following work:Firstly,the wet clutch engagement process is divided into three stages: pure oil film shear stage,mixed friction stage and rough contact stage.The control systems of wet clutch are classified and compared,and the corresponding relationship between the oil pressure and the control signal is established by the upper computer control software based on Labview.The establishment of the control oil pressure in the joint process is studied,and the control of the wet clutch engagement process is realized.Secondly,the friction pairs of wet clutch are simplified to single.The theoretical analysis and mathematical model are established for different stages of the bonding process.The model of the distribution of internal flow field pressure of piston chamber is built through the fluid balance equation and the viscous torque model of pure oil film shear stage is established by the way of law of internal friction and the rough contact torque model is established from the theory of solid friction.Then three stages model integrated clutch engagement process are under way to build a torque model of engagement process.Thirdly,based on the model established above,the software of Fluent was used to calculate the flow distribution in the piston cavity.Then the simulation and calculation of viscous torque and rough torque are completed by using the Simulink of Matlab.And some factors of the key such as the value and slope of hydraulic control,speed,lubrication flow temperature were discussed to analysis the influence of joint torque in this paper.Fourthly,in order to make sure the correctness of the mathematical above,a wet clutch test bench was built to test the variation of the control pressure,rotational speed and torque.The viscous torque and rough torque are tested respectively.Then the torque value of the bonding process was tested to verify the correctness of the engagement process of torque model.The research on the torque of wet clutch in the full engagement progress has some practical significance for the design and application of wet clutch.
