Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT for short) is a new type of automatic transmissionbased on the parallel shaft transmission. It has the advantages of Automated MechanicalTransmission and Manual Transmission, simple structure, high transmission efficiency,short shift time, high shift quality, and it can realize dynamic without interrupt in theshifting process. Engagement process of dual clutch is complex, it affected by manyfactors, parameters are dynamic, and it influence on starting and shifting process, so studyof engagement rule on dual clutch transmission is necessary, it occupies a decisiveposition.This paper introduces the characteristics and working principle of DCT, it analyzesthe DCT and the dual clutch engagement process dynamic model, establish engagementprocess dynamic model of dual clutch on the basis of MATLAB/Simulink, simulationanalysis of engagement rule of starting and shifting process, design pressure control systemof dual clutch engagement process, and adopt fuzzy controller to correct the pressure ofclutch, contrast the shift quality. In this paper, there are seven main working contents:(1) Analyzes the structural characteristics and working principle of six-speed DualClutch Transmission, analyzes the shifting process of DCT and dynamic flow;(2) According to the kinetic equation of engine, DCT and vehicle, establish engine,DCT and vehicle dynamic simulation model based on the MATLAB/Simulink;(3) Calculate the tractive performance shift schedule based on the rules of tractiveperformance shift schedule, and establish shift control system of DCT based on Stateflow;(4) Detail analysis of nine engagement state of dual clutch, establish torque transfermodel of nine engagement state, and establish logic judgment and switch model of nineengagement state of dual clutch based on Stateflow;(5) Analyze engagement rule in starting and shifting process of DCT, the mainanalysis is vehicle load, throttle opening, rising velocity of clutch pressure, characteristic of clutch pressure curve and characteristic of pressure overlap;(6) Fuzzy correction system proposed, used for correct the pressure of dual clutchengagement process. Design fuzzy correction controller of dual clutch, the controllerincludes driver intent fuzzy inference and clutch pressure fuzzy inference, establish dualclutch fuzzy correction controller with MATLAB fuzzy control toolbox;(7) Simulation analysis of DCT with fuzzy control system, comparion at the resultwith DCT without fuzzy control system, and analysis the shift quality.One of the dual clutch engagement process control system is proposed through thestudy of dual clutch engagement process, the control system can improve the shift qualityand it is instructive. |
