The Main Forest Pest Control Technology And Promotion In Heze City

In recent years, Heze City is suffering serious pest damage with the result of increasing of artificial pure forests area, the invasion of forest pests and the unreasonable prevention technology system. Currently, the focus of forestry development has been moved to the forestry governance from forestry plantation gradually. To effectively control forest pest damage, we deadly need a scientific prevention and control technology and efficient technology promotion. Study on the occurrence rule, damage characteristics, causes, situation, prevention and control technology, and technology promotion of major forest pests during nearly seven years in Heze was conducted using the research methods such as literature review, individual interviews, field research and statistical analysis. The research results could provide a scientific basis to control major forest pest in Heze. The main results are as follows.1. There were 11 kinds of major forestry pest damages in Heze, of which eight kinds belonged to insects pests, three kinds belonged to forest diseases. According to the survey data from 2008 to 2014, the occurrence area of pest expanded gradually and reached a maximum in 2011, and after which it began to decrease. Before 2010, the occurrence area of forest diseases were larger than that of insect pests, while it reversed in 2010, this might be the result of explosion of Hyphantria cunea Drury. It was predicted that the city's forestry pest occurrence area in 2015 would decrease compared with that in 2014, but the situation of forestry pest damages would be still severe. In which, the occurrence area of forest disease would decrease while that of the insect pest would be almost the same with that in 2014. Compared with the occurrence of forest disease area, the proportion of insect pest area is increasing, and the overall situation of incidence of major forest pest in 2015 will be still severe.2. The damages of Hyphantria cunea Drury, Apocheima cinerarius Erschoff, Marssonina brunnea and Botryosphaeria ribis on forest were the most serious pests in Heze City. The measures such as forest management, artificial, insecticides and spraying aircraft was taken to prevent the occurrence of Hyphantria cunea Drury and Apocheima cinerarius, while appropriate forest management and the use of insecticides were the main measures to prevent the occurrence of Marssonina brunnea and Botryosphaeria ribis.3. On the basis of the full use of traditional promotion modes such as television, radio and newspapers, some new promotion modes such as literary composing, mobile news, mobile phone text messaging and internet forest hospitals were attempted to use in Heze City, which achieved some good effects. But the effects were still constrained by many factors such as unreasonable organizational structure, personnel structure and the inadequate investment.
