Rice is the main grain product in south China, the harvest of which has a significant influence. Degree of mechanization of rice harvesting in our country is not high, especially in the southwest. Limited by the terrain features of hilly and mountain area, medium and large harvester used in the flat area of northern China is not applicable in the southwest, while the small one also has a weak terrain applicability. Targeted at the special terrain like hilly and mountain area in the southwest, this topic puts forward a plan of adjustable- tread feeding combine harvester drive chassis on the basis of structure characteristics of rice combine harvester common on the market, so as to solve problem of rice combine harvester inconvenient to operate in the southwest; At the same time, circuit system is introduced to study and design circuit control system of whole machine in order to improve the utilization rate of energy consumption and have an user- friendly operation. Main study contents and results involve:1. A plan of adjustable- tread mini- type rice combine harvester chassis has been put forward on the basis of fully studying various vehicle model possessing capability of operating in the hilly area as well as combining with market survey and analysis, which can solve the problem of existing model unable to pass the narrow area and turn land in hilly and mountain area, and innovatively solve the transferring problem in the farm of hilly and mountain area;2. Utilization of width adjustment of oblique slide rail and rotating screw rod and sharing header linear actuator and rice- receiving stand to realize the lifting of the whole vehicle height have been put forward based on overall plan of adjustable tread. The structure is simple and reliable, which can effectively reduce repeated construction and lower quality of whole vehicle by adoption of a multi-purpose design concept;3. Chassis frame faces threat of stiffness, strength and resonance due to the design target of light quality of the whole vehicle. On the basis of applying SolidWorks software to conduct chassis 3D model and virtual assembly of whole machine, the topic studies various working conditions of the harvester during operation and transfer, defines boundary conditions and performs statics and dynamic characteristics analysis on designed chassis by utilizing Workbench software, through which, beneficial conclusion has been obtained;4. The design puts forward a design plan of mechanical and electrical combination drive, of which, chassis walking adopts electric drive, so as to reduce the complexity of the drive system and facilitate speed- adjusting and operation. Several control circuits have been designed and experimented in the sample. The best control plan has been obtained from experiments;The adjustable- tread electric- drive chassis system put forward by this topic, solves not only the existing transfer problem of rice combine harvester on the farm, but also the highcost and heavy- weight problem caused by complexity of change drive system. These two techniques are useful attempts for mini- type rice combine harvester used in the hilly area. In the study process of the topic, it solves the problem of design merely remaining in the drawing phase with effect with organic combination of design and verification by fully use of virtual design, finite element analysis and other modern design methods as well as verification of prototype experiment, which enable mini- type rice combine harvester used in the hilly area to stride forward from design to utilization.
