With the development of the times and advances in technology, attention on the global environmental damage and the sense of crisis of resources are gradually deepened, so the alginate is developed and used more and more widely. Alginate has been widely used in tissue engineering and medical fields, for it's excellent biocompatibility, non-toxic side effects, biodegradability, antigens and other characteristics. In this paper, taking full advantage of alginate's excellent physical, chemical and medical properties, the sponge-like calcium alginate membranes for dressing are prepared by freeze-drying, and the specific preparation methods are studied to optimize the preparation process, and the performance of the sponge-like calcium alginate membranes are studied.Membranes prepared by freeze-drying method are porous, soft and flexible, with an open sheet structure. The preparation processes are as follows:dissolve-deaerate-freeze at low temperature-freeze-dry-cross-link-freeze-freeze-dry.The influence of solution temperature of sodium alginate, the manner and time of deaeration, the molecular weight of sodium alginate, the concentration and quantity of package of the sodium alginate solution and the concentration of the calcium chloride solution on the freeze-dried membrane of calcium alginate are studied, by testing and analyzing the permeability, water vapor permeability, mechanical properties and the suction performance of membranes. The molecular weight of sodium alginate, the concentration and quantity of package of sodium alginate solution were selected to do the orthogonal experiment to determine the optimal processes:600mPa.s,2%,20g.The honeycomb lyophilized membranes of calcium alginate were prepared by changing the freezing conditions and compared with single-layer lamellar freeze-dried membranes of calcium alginate, and the influences of the concentration of the sodium alginate solution on the honeycomb lyophilized membranes were studied. The performance of the two kind freeze-dried membranes and the non-woven of calcium alginate was compared. It' s found that the water vapor permeability of the lamellar freeze-dried membrane is the lowest, and the permeability of the honeycomb freeze-dried membrane is the lowst.
