| Objective:This study is an important task called’study on the clinical diagnostic experience of famous TCM doctors based on the information mining technology’supported by the important science and technology programme of beijing municipality.To enrich and complete data base of Professor ChaoEnXiang’s clinical diagnostic experience by following up the clinic of Professor Chao, collecting and compiling Chao’s clinical diagnostic materials;upon the data base,to study the clinical experience and academic ideas of Chao on treating the chronic cough from four aspects:theory, method, formula and herbs by methods of appropriate statistics, information mining and in-depth interview and so on so as to present Chao’s clinical experience in objective data.Methods:Firstly, the clinic cases are collected by Chenyan and Wangxinqiu, pupils of Chao.The cases’files were recorded in details according to the "information collection program of famous TCM doctors’clinical experience"made by our research group and then entered into into computer by Microsoft Word format.After being checked by senior doctors in our department by Chao’s original case records, those files were complemented by Chao’s oral words on during treatment and his pupils’personal experience and feelings and finally examined and revised by Chao himself.The final result was submitted to research group.Cases’files were put into stuctured information collection system by special assigned person by the research group according to "the data entry standard of stuctured famous TCM doctors’clinical information collection system".Then the quality control personel assigned by the research group examined the data to make sure the important clinical information like chief complaints,tongue and pulses, important medical exams, main points of syndrome differenciation, diagnosis of disease and syndrome in TCM, diagnosis of western medicine, therapeutic methods, main formulas and its usage, herbs, doses and etc structured.After the reexaminatinon, the data base of Dr Chao’s cases is established followed by the back-up and locking of the data base.Although the clinical information in the system is structured, futher analysis and mining were proceeded. After the entry and organization of the data, the analytical data base was formed.Results:Of all the400cases, most of which manifested as chronic cough,cough variant asthma, asthma and cough after infecion in western medicine disease. In TCM disease, the cough was the on the top list. In TCM syndrome differentiation, the syndrome of lung attacked by wind-evil was the most.The most commonly used herbs are ziyuan,dilong,xingren,suye,syzi.chantui,wuweizi,pipaye,qianhu,mahuang,yuxingcao,niubangz i,shanyurou,juhong,xinyi,jinqiaomai,baibu,maogen,wumei,baishou,banxia,gualou,jiaomaiya.T he main therapeutic method of TCM used was dispersing wind-evil to ventilate the lung.Conclution:This study combined the data mining and manual work under the precondition of lot of objective data ensured and interation with Dr Chao made a conclution of academic view and experience which both reflected the real thoughts of Dr Chao and clinical facts. This study aims to summarize clinical diagnostic experience and academic views of Dr Chao on treating chronic cough and explore a newer and more suitable method to study the famous TCM doctors’clinical experience by the sudy itself. |
