Effect Of Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo Method On Cirrhosis With Anxiety And Depression

Background and ObjectiveCirrhosis seriously affected the quality of life. During clinical process, we observed many patients had psychological problems, With anxiety and depression the most common. That anxiety and depression itself can lead to fatigue, anxiety, insomnia and decreased appetite, which is similar and overlapping with liver cirrhosis symptoms, insufficient cause for anxiety, depression diagnosis, and thus affect the treatment of the disease. In the study, we tried to explore the influence of anxiety and depression on patients, TCM constitution and temperament types, and to investigate the relationship between the types and psychological disorders.Yi Qi Jie Du Ton g Luo Fang is an experience medical prescription of mytutor whose n ame is Guangfu Xu. Mang years of clinical observation shows that the methods and ideas fit the pathogenesis of chronic liver disease.It can resist hepatic fibrosis remarkably. But that has not been associated with anxiety and depression state of liver cirrhosis treated by. This observation on the subject "Yi qi jie du tong luo" curative effect in treating liver cirrhosis and mental improvement. MethodsAdopted cross-sectional comparative study, we selected patients with liver cirrhosis from the first clinical hospital of Beijing University of TCM in february2011-2012. Survey Hamilton anxiety/depression gauge, manifestations, physical types, temperament types and blood parameters. All patients were divided into two groups:the anxiety and depression group and non-anxiety and depression one. Analyze the difference between the above factors and influence of anxiety and depression on cirrhosic patients.Secondly, we would use Yi qi jie du Tong luo method to treat30cases with anxiety and depression. Manifestation scores, hepatic function, B-mode ultrasonic and HAMA/HAMD changes were observed. The efficacy of "Yi qi jie du tong luo" clinical evaluation of treatment of liver cirrhosis accompanied by anxiety and depression should be evaluated.Results This study observed157cases,40.1%(63cases) was under the presence of anxiety and depression, and HAMA/HAMD scores had significant correlation. Qi yu physical type and depressive temperament type of the anxiety and depression group had statistically significances. Manifestations scores and the level of ALT, AST and TBIL are higher, the level of ALB, WBC, RBC and PLT compared to lower.The difference between the two groups were statistically significant.The results indicated that the therapy effective rates being86.7%.It was also found the improvement of syndromes, signs, hepatic function, B-mode ultrasonic and HAMA/HAMD scores.ConclusionHigher incidence of anxiety and depression were in cirrhosic patients. On the base of certain physical and temperament characteristics, psychological problems were due to cirrhosis. Anxiety and depression as negative stimulation, can significantly increase liver cirrhosis disease.Yi qi jie du Tong luo method was an effective treatment for liver cirrhosis accompanied by psychological problems.
