| Objective:To detect the expression of adiponectin and visfatin in endometrial carcinoma and atypicaldysplasia and normal endometrium, investigate the role of adiponectin and visfatin in theoccurrence and progression of endometrial carcinoma, and analyze their relationships with theclinicopathological parameters.Methods:40 cases of endometrial cancer,20 cases of endometrium dysplasia and 36 cases of normalendometrium were obtained from the inpatients in the Gynecological Department the AffiliatedHospital of Qingdao University. the expression of adiponectin and visfatin were detected byimmunohistochemistry respectively, and analyze their relationships with pathologicalparameters of endometrial cancer.Results:1. The adiponectin expressed in the endometrial carcinoma, endometrial dysplasia andnormal endometrium, its positive expression rates are 25.00%、50.00% and 66.6.%. Thepositive expression rate of endometrial carcinoma is stronger than that of normalendometrium(P<0. 05).There were no significant difference between the expression ofendometrial carcinoma and endometrial dysplasia(P>0. 05). The expression of adiponectinshowed no relationship with the differentiation, clinical staging, lymph node metastasis anddepth of myometrial invasion.2.The visfatin expressed in the endometrial carcinoma, endometrial dysplasia and normalendometrium, its positive expression rates are 65.00%、50.00% and 30.50%. The positiveexpression rate of endometrial carcinoma is stronger than that of normal endometrium(P<0.05).The expression of visfatin showed no relationship with the differentiation, clinical staging, lymph node metastasis and depth of myometrial invasion.3.The adiponectin positive rate was significantly negatively correlated with that of visfatin inendometrial carcinoma(r=-0.666,P<0.05).Conclusions:Adiponectin and visfatin expressed in in the endometrial carcinoma, endometrial dysplasiaand normal endometrium, however the expression of adiponectin increased in the threegroups and the expression of visfatin decreased in the three groups. The adiponectin positiverate was down expressed and that of visfatin was high expressed. They were negatively correlated with each other in endometrial carcinoma. The expression of adiponectin may play animportant role in the occurrence and development of endometrial carcinoma, and visfatin maypromote the occurrence of endometrial carcinoma. |
