Clinical Study Of Baimasan External Application In The Treatment Of Moderate Cancer Pain Of Bone Metastasis

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction of Bai Ma formula in treating bone metastatic pain,to confirmed its validity and reliability,and to further explore theoretical connotation the external application of traditional Chinese medicine in treating bone metastatic pain.Method:60 Patients eligible for the study were randomizely assigned into two groups:Treatment group and Control group.All the Patients in treatment group were administrated with Bai Ma formula.All the patients of Control group were administrated with Tramadol Hydrochloride Sustained Release Tablets.After 2weeks of observation of patients' quality of life score,KPS score,the degree of pain score of the indicators such as change the situation.Results:60 Patients entered the study,in with 30 assigned into Treatment group and 30 assigned into Control group.There was no difference of change of effeetive rate of analgesia and duration of remission between groups(P>0.05),in with the total effective rate of treatment group was 90.0% and the Control group was 83.3%.The mean time of starting time of effeet of the Treatment group was shorter than Control group.In the two groups before and after the test the overall quality of life score,KPS score were statistically significant(P<0.05),that is,two groups of patients after test the overall quality of life,KPS score than improve before test.Bai Ma formula can also improve the Patients' quality of live.The side effect formation rate of treatment was lower than the control group obviously,such as disgusting,vomiting,dizziness,drowsiness,astriction.It has not presented skin's serious side effect.Conclusions:1.The effect of external application of Bai Ma formula in the treatment of advanced cancer patients with bone metastasis was similar to that of oral Tramadol Hydrochloride Sustained Release Tablets,and the onset time of analgesia was relatively short.2.Bai Ma formula can significantly improve the quality of life of patients with adverse reactions,and its comprehensive effect compared with Tramadol Hydrochloride Sustained Release Tablets has certain advantages.
